Frequently Asked Questions

Registration

Deadlines!

Here are our 2026 deadlines:

  • September 8 – last day to to have your baby(ies) name(s) on this year’s shirt ($25 fee payable hereand in the printed program
  • October 2 – online registration closes
  • October 9 @ 5pm – fundraising leaderboard locked in place

Do I need to register?

Yes, please!  It helps us to keep track of how many people join us and create this community of support and connection. We will read your babies’ names aloud and registering will have a spot for you to let us know exactly how to pronounce their names and honor them.

Can I register the morning of the walk?

Yes!  However, if you know you are coming please register early!

If I register the morning of the walk, will my baby's name still be read?

Yes!  Your baby’s name will be read, but it will not appear in any printed materials.

Is there a cost?

Nope!  Participation in the walk is free, but we do require everyone to register.

What do I receive with my registration?

All registered walkers will receive a packet including printed programs including a list of all the babies we are honoring, any t-shirts & swag ordered, and additional goodies and giveaways from our community partners.

When can I pick up my walk packet?

Packets are available for all registered walkers to pick up the morning of the walk.  If you volunteer to help with Packet Building you can take it home that day!  (email us to learn about more info.)

Not necessarily, but we hope you’ll stick around for the whole event! If you need to leave the Walk early, we will make sure to connect with you to get you your prize!

What items will be up for raffle?

Our Raffle Committee has been hard at work filling raffle baskets with generous donations from Share Families and community partners.

Keep your eye on our Facebook page to see some of the amazing options!

Can I donate items for the raffle?

Absolutely, we’d love that!  The Raffle Committee will be accepting items for donation until September 1st.

Email RaffleShareWalk@gmail.com to connect with us and arrange for pickup/drop-off of your donation.

Event Day

Will there be a livestream of the event?

No, this will be an in person event only at this time. But maybe someday…

How long is the walk? Do we have to walk the whole route?

The Walk itself is just under 1.5 miles on a fairly accessible sidewalk/park path.  No one is required to complete the Walk and you may detour at any time.  Please be respectful of our community and do your best to stay on sidewalks/path and obey the park rules.

Can I volunteer to help on walk day?

Yes! Email HonorHealHope@gmail.com to connect and learn more about how you can help!

Will I be able to purchase t-shirts, tote bags and stickers on walk day?

Yes!  Cash and credit card are accepted.  Because we place one bulk order for t-shirts, we can’t guarantee that your size will be available on walk day, so be sure to order before 9/23/26 to guarantee you’ll have what you want.

What if it rains?

We get a little wet and stomp in the puddles! This event happens rain, shine, snow, or sleet.  In the case of severe weather check our Facebook page or this website for further details.

Where should I park?

There is plenty of parking, but not all of it is close.  You can park adjacent to the Grand Pavilion.  If those lots fill, you can use the large parking lot for Centennial Beach.  Please leave plenty of time to find parking and walk to the Grand Pavilion.

Remembrance Service Seating

With over 900 walkers expected to attend, seating is limited.  There are a handful of picnic tables available on a first-come, first-served basis, however it’s a great idea to bring your own lawn chairs or blankets.
